What is Academic Coaching?
As an Academic Coach I support and collaborate with students to create customized systems, habits, routines and strategies as they develop their Executive Functioning Skills and work towards achieving their goals. I also work on developing study skills, and on stress management to help them create a school/life balance.

Academic Coaching Versus Tutoring?

Traditional tutoring focuses on working with students who are having difficulty with the content of a specific subject. As an Academic coach, I help students successfully navigate the entire school experience, as they develop their Executive Functioning and Study Skills while learning to management their stress in healthy ways. These skills can be carried through to adulthood.
